A PROPOSAL FOR 2025
Proposal: If You Accept Me as Your Prospective Crew-Member Partner, I Can…
Hi, I’m Antonio Machado, and I’m reaching out with a proposal to become your trusted partner for Work & Travel programs here in Brazil and Latin America. While I am not currently representing your cruise line company, I would like to offer my experience and skills to help bridge the gap and connect your business with qualified crew members ready to work in the U.S. hospitality industry.
If you accept me as your prospective partner, I can:
- Pre-interview and evaluate crew members to ensure they are the right fit for your cruise line company’s needs.
- Enroll and train crew members in specialized English, focused on hospitality, customer service, and professional communication.
- Assess each crew member’s English proficiency, ensuring they meet the required level for working in the U.S.
- Check documentation to guarantee that everything is in order for the crew members’ participation in Work & Travel programs.
- Share my real-life experience from over 9 years and 7 months of working in the U.S. hospitality industry, including in pubs & bars, restaurants, and cruise lines such as Carnival Cruise Lines, Disney Cruise, Pullmantur, and Fred Olsen Ferry Company.
- Provide crew members with a clear vision of what it’s like to work in the U.S. hospitality industry, especially for those without prior experience in this field.
- Run bartending courses, preparing crew members for roles in the food and beverage department, and offering them additional skills to thrive on board.
- Ensure that my guidance goes beyond just theory, emphasizing real-life experience, particularly about crew life on ships, including the unique challenges and rewards that come with being part of a cruise line crew.
While I was in Europe, I had the opportunity to live in Portugal, England, Norway, Denmark, and Italy. I have worked in several areas of the hospitality industry, including roles such as dishwasher, camarero, bus-boy, commis waiter, assistant waiter, waiter, banquet waiter, hotel receptionist, night auditor, as well as assistant bartender and bartender. During my time in Europe, I took a course at Bas’ School of Bartending and, after successfully passing, was hired by Carnival Cruise Lines in their London office and sent to Miami to join the MS Ecstasy vessel. Before starting my work on board, I had to complete a month-long Carnival College course.
With almost 19 years of combined experience in the hospitality, administrative, and human resources sectors across the United States and Europe, I am confident that I can provide highly trained, well-prepared crew members for Work & Travel opportunities.
A thought to consider: I understand that starting small is important. I propose to begin by sending just a few crew members, proving the value and quality of my service. As I gain your trust and respect, I will continue to build a strong, professional relationship, allowing me to handle larger numbers of crew members and further represent your cruise line company.
If you’re looking for a reliable, experienced partner to help you connect with crew members in Brazil and Latin America, I would be honored to collaborate with you. My years of experience and passion for this profession drive me to ensure success for both the crew members and your cruise line company.
Please take a moment to review my Resume and C.V. to verify my international experience in hospitality, administration, and human resources.
Please feel free to contact me and ensure you can run a background check, verify references, review my Brazilian Business English Center legal documents (CNPJ registered since 2019), and schedule a one-on-one webcam interview to discuss our potential partnership further.
