Proposal: If You Accept Me as Your Au-Pair Prospective Partner, I Can…

Hi, I’m Antonio Machado, and I’m reaching out with a proposal to become your trusted partner for Au Pair programs in Brazil and Latin America. While I am not yet representing your agency, I would like to offer my international experience and skills to connect your agency with qualified, well-prepared Brazilian candidates who are eager to participate in Au Pair programs.

If you accept me as your prospective partner, I can:

• Pre-screen and interview candidates to ensure they meet the qualifications and cultural expectations of your program.
• Help enroll and prepare candidates by providing them with English language training focused on effective communication in an Au Pair setting.
• Assess each candidate’s English proficiency, ensuring they are ready to communicate confidently with host families and others.
• Check documentation, including visa and eligibility requirements, to guarantee everything is in order for their participation.
• Share insights from my personal experience living and working abroad, including over 9 years and 7 months in the U.S., and my time spent in Europe (Portugal, England, Norway, Denmark, and Italy), where I was immersed in diverse cultures and had the opportunity to witness how an Au Pair program can be a life-changing experience for both the host families and the young professionals involved.
• Provide candidates with a clear understanding of what it’s like to live abroad as an Au Pair, including challenges they might face, cultural differences, and the expectations that come with being part of such a program.

In the 90s, I had the opportunity to send five Brazilian Au Pairs to Germany, which provided me with valuable insight into how the Au Pair program works in Europe. This experience gave me a strong foundation in managing the logistical and cultural aspects of placing young professionals abroad.

In addition to my years of working in the hospitality industry, I am also the owner of Business English Center (BEC), where I’ve built and managed an educational service. Running BEC has allowed me to develop strong administrative skills and an in-depth understanding of how to manage programs, stay compliant with regulations, and ensure that all participants meet the necessary qualifications. With this experience, I am fully equipped to handle Au Pair programs, ensuring that all Brazilian candidates I send abroad meet the rules and regulations and are well-prepared for success. I am confident in my ability to run this program and guide the candidates toward achieving their goals.

Having lived and worked in Europe and the U.S., with years of experience in various hospitality and administrative roles, I am familiar with the expectations of living abroad and working in a family setting. My background includes working in hotel reception, restaurant settings, and other hospitality-related fields, giving me a wide perspective on what it means to live and work away from home.

With almost 19 years of combined international experience, I believe I can ensure that the Brazilian Au Pair candidates I send to your program are highly prepared, not just for the language but for the cultural experience and responsibilities that come with being an Au Pair.
